Media Federation of India (MFI) is a nationally respected organisation established by journalists, for journalists, dedicated to strengthening the media fraternity across the country. Founded in 2006 by a collective of leading journalist organisations, MFI was created with a clear vision — to support, empower, and advance the professional, ethical, and social interests of media professionals in India.
Today, MFI stands as one of the strongest national platforms for journalists, representing a vibrant network of over 15,000 media professionals along with numerous journalist associations, foundations, and eminent press societies nationwide.
The Federation maintains close and continuous engagement with:

- Professionals from television and digital news channels
- Social media journalists, content creators, and digital media practitioners
