Media Federation of India Signs MoU with Sputnik News Russia
On the occasion of the 17th Media Excellence Awards & International Seminar held at Pyarelal Bhawan Auditorium on March 4, 2023, Media Federation of India (MFI) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sputnik News Russia.
The agreement was formalized by Mr. Arun Sharma, President of MFI, and Ms. Olga Dycheva, Chief Representative India, Sputnik News Russia, with Ms. Amita Sharma, National Secretary of MFI, and Prof. (Dr.) Sachin Batra, Advisor at MFI, also present during the ceremony.
Through this collaboration, MFI and Sputnik News Russia will jointly promote media literacy, organize industry-academia programs, and strengthen professional ties between media organizations in India and Russia. This partnership reflects a commitment to enhancing media relations and fostering collaborative growth in the global media landscape.
Media Federation of India Signs MoU with AAFT
In a significant step toward strengthening media education and industry collaboration, Media Federation of India (MFI) has entered into an international collaboration with AAFT to develop a world-class Media Centre. This partnership aims to provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions to academic institutions, media houses, and press associations.
This initiative was further reinforced through MFI’s association with the Media & Entertainment Committee (M&EC) – BIS, Government of India. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, National President of M&EC-BIS, and Mr. Arun Sharma, President of MFI, agreed to work collaboratively to transform and modernize the media and entertainment industry, creating opportunities for skill development, professional training, and industry-academia integration.
This collaboration underscores MFI’s commitment to empowering the media sector and nurturing future-ready professionals.

ACN Networks has partnered with the Media Federation of India (MFI) through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish MFI’s Asian chapters.
Under this collaboration, both organizations will work closely to strengthen ties with foreign media houses, media associations, federations, and media clubs across Asia. This initiative aims to expand MFI’s international presence, promote cross-border media cooperation, and foster professional exchange within the media industry.
